One team for the whole day, ceremony to last dance.
Most couples book a Wedding DJ and MC for the reception, then decide where they want live music: the walk down the aisle, the cocktail hour, or musicians playing over the DJ set when the dancing peaks. If you want a band, we can put a DJ between their sets so the floor never goes quiet.
Below is what each part covers, what it sounds like on the day and how it fits with the rest. Every booking is planned with you song by song.

Wedding DJ and MC
Your reception’s music and every announcement, run by one team
From the grand entrance to the last song, we plan the whole reception with you: the songs you love, the ones you never want to hear, and the order of the night. Then we play it for the room in front of us, song by song as the night builds.

Live ceremony music
Live music for the walk down the aisle
Acoustic guitar and vocals, or piano, played live for the prelude as guests take their seats, your processional, any moment during the ceremony and the recessional. You choose the songs; we make sure each one starts on its cue.

Cocktail hour
A live set while your guests mingle
While you’re away for portraits, your guests get a live acoustic set over drinks and appetizers: songs they know, played at a level where people can still talk. When it ends, the music hands straight over to the reception.

Songs chosen to suit your crowd, at conversation volume
Your DJ keeps the dance floor moving, and at the moments you choose, live musicians play over the tracks: drums, guitar, sax or violin, in any combination. Guests get the songs they know with the energy of a live performance.

Wedding MC
The voice that keeps the night on time
The MC is the person on the microphone: introducing the wedding party, handing over to the toasts, calling the first dance, the cake and the send-off, and keeping guests in the right place at the right time without the night ever feeling rushed.

Band packages
Live wedding band
A full live band, with a DJ between sets if you like
For couples who want most of the reception played live, a band package puts musicians on stage for the dancing. A DJ can play between sets and close out the night, so the floor never goes quiet while the band takes a break.

A DJ between sets and to close the night, if you want one
With the Wedding DJ and MC. It's the core booking and covers your whole reception, from the grand entrance to the last song. Plenty of couples book it and nothing else.
Is the MC a separate booking?
No. The wedding MC comes with your DJ: entrances, toasts, the cake and the send-off, announced by the person playing your music.
Can we add live music to our DJ booking?
Yes. Live ceremony music, a cocktail-hour set and DJ plus live music are all add-ons to the Wedding DJ and MC. The ceremony and cocktail hour are played on acoustic guitar and vocals, or piano; DJ plus live music adds any combination of live drums, guitar, sax and violin on top of the DJ set.
No. Every quote depends on your hours, what you add and where you're getting married. Our Michigan wedding DJ cost guide explains what drives the price, and if you check your date we'll quote yours.
