Alicia McKay
Co-owner and venue coordinator
Alicia McKay started planning weddings in 2014, alongside a full-time job as a graphic designer. Today she co-owns The Oakley with her parents, Cathy and Ken McKay, and is its venue coordinator.
The McKay Estate was built in 1990 on 40 acres of rolling hills near the village of Holly. The family began turning it into a wedding venue in December 2016, and Tom and Ellen’s wedding in 2018 was the first one it held.
Couples book The Oakley for the whole weekend, and the venue hosts only 15 weddings a year, from May to the first weekend of October.

The venue hosts 15 weddings a year, and each is booked as a full-weekend rental, so the estate is yours for the weekend.

A month-of coordinator comes with the venue package, and Alicia McKay, who has planned weddings since 2014, is the venue coordinator.

Two ways to book the estate.
Both packages are booked from May through the first weekend of October. The venue’s own site has full details and current pricing.

The Venue Package
A full-weekend rental: ceremony by the pond, cocktails in the greenhouse and courtyard, and dinner in the indoor hall.

The Greenhouse Package
A smaller package built around the greenhouse, for intimate weddings.

A preferred venue, where our story started.
The Oakley is a Menzo Weddings preferred vendor. Dave DJ’d Tom and Ellen’s wedding in August 2018, the first wedding the venue ever held, and came back for Genna and Frank’s in 2021.
